Companies, organizations, departments or divisions within companies which are (a) engaged in the business of developing or providing technologies, products, or services that enhance, improve, comprise part of, or interact with a smart grid, or (b) significant users of electricity, in each case whose applications for membership have been accepted by the Board of Directors and that are current in the payment of dues to the Corporation.

Companies or organizations that are engaged in the transmission or sale of energy for retail use, whose applications for membership have been accepted by the Board of Directors and that are current in the payment of dues to the Corporation.

| Service Providers Member |
Individuals, companies, organizations, or divisions within companies that provide professional services such as legal, accounting, or financial services, whose applications for membership have been accepted by the Board of Directors and that are current in the payment of dues to the Corporation.

| Education |
Colleges, universities, and vocational training institutions whose applications for membership have been accepted by the Board of Directors and that are current in the payment of dues to the Corporation.

Non-Profit,
Government,
or Partner
Associations |
State and local governments, public agencies, and non profit organizations with a mission or interest that supports the smart grid industry, energy efficiency or clean technology, specifically including those agencies or organizations with a focus on economic development or energy solutions, whose application for membership has been accepted by the Board of Directors and that are current in the payment of dues to the Corporation.

Individuals |
Unaffiliated individuals members are individuals who are active and interested in the smart grid and related industries and who are self-employed or not employed by a corporation or other entity that would otherwise be eligible to become a member. |
